A day built around Mount Gushmore: thrill slides off the summit first, family rides and the lazy river once the lines mature.
مقاطع
- Mount Gushmore & the chairlift
Main entrance ← Mount Gushmore summit
Stairs and paved slopes
The park's fake alp, complete with a real working chairlift carrying swimmers to the summit past fake snow and dangling icicles. Ride the lift up at least once for the view over the whole melting resort — but when its queue builds, the stairs are honestly faster. Everything worth screaming about launches from up here.
- Summit Plummet & Slush Gusher
Mount Gushmore summit ← Slide runouts
Slide towers and stairs
Summit Plummet is the headliner — one of the tallest and fastest free-fall body slides anywhere, a near-vertical drop launched from a tower styled as a ski jump. The fall is over in seconds and discussed for years. Slush Gusher next door is the double-humped, marginally saner sibling for anyone who watched Summit Plummet and reconsidered.
- Teamboat Springs & Runoff Rapids
Green Slope ← Raft slide runouts
Stairs and paved slide paths
The family side of the mountain. Teamboat Springs is one of the longest family raft rides going — a big shared raft careening down a long, banked channel with the whole boat howling together. Runoff Rapids on the back slope drops twisting inner-tube runs, one of them enclosed and dark. This pair carries the midday hours.
- Cross Country Creek & Tike's Peak
Base of Mount Gushmore ← Cross Country Creek circuit
Lazy river and shallow play areas
Cross Country Creek is the lazy river ringing the entire park — a slow full circuit through a dripping ice cave and past the melting scenery, the best low-effort tour of the theming. Tike's Peak nearby restages the ski-resort gag at toddler scale with shallow water and mini slides. End the day drifting.
