مُنْرِيَال أو مونتريال هي أكبر مدينة في مقاطعة كيبيك، وثاني أكبر مدينة في كندا، وتاسع أكبر مدينة في أمريكا الشمالية. تأسست عام 1642 باسم "فيل ماري" أو "مدينة ماري"، وحملت لاحقاً اسمها الحالي نسبة إلى جبل مونت رويال، وهو جبل ذو ثلاث قمم بُنيت حوله المستوطنة الأولى. تقع المدينة على جزيرة مونتريال وعدد قليل من الجزر الصغيرة المحيطة، وأكبرها جزيرة إيل بيزار. تبعد المدينة 196 كيلومتراً شرق العاصمة الوطنية أوتاوا، و258 كيلومتراً جنوب غرب عاصمة المقاطعة، مدينة كيبيك.

Mount Royal: Olmsted's Road to the Cross, the Lake and the Lookout
