هَضْبة الجَوْلان هي هضبة بازلتية متنازع عليها بين إسرائيل وسوريا، تقع في الزاوية الجنوبية الغربية من سوريا، أو الشمالية الشرقية من إسرائيل. يحدُّها من الجنوب نهر اليرموك، ومن الغرب بحيرة طبريا ووادي الحولة، ومن الشمال جبال لبنان الشرقية وجبل الشيخ، ومن الشرق وادي الرقاد. سياسيًا، تحدها المملكة الأردنية من الجنوب، وإسرائيل من الغرب، ولبنان من الشمال الغربي وسوريا من الشمال الشرقي والشرق.
