Plan in your own chat
Plan your walk in ChatGPT or Claude, from every route on Waymark
Your chat builds the trip with you day by day, using only the routes and stages Waymark publishes, with real distances, ascent and where to sleep. The plan is saved as a page you send to everyone coming: they comment, vote and propose other routes, and you decide.
-
Connect or paste
One address as a connector, or a ready prompt for any chat.
-
Build it in conversation
The chat asks about days, fitness and season, then plans from the site’s own stages.
-
Decide together
One shared page with alternative routes, votes and comments on every day.
Option A: connect Waymark to your chat (recommended)
Add this address as a connector once. From then on the chat searches every route and day itself, saves the trip and hands you a link.
https://waymarkroutes.com/mcp In Claude
- Settings, then Connectors.
- Add custom connector, paste the address and save.
- In a new chat, turn the connector on and say what walk you have in mind.
In ChatGPT
- Settings, then Apps and connectors.
- In Developer mode, create a new connector, paste the address and choose no authentication.
- In a new chat, pick the connector and say what walk you have in mind.
In ChatGPT this is currently on paid plans. If you do not have it, option B works in any chat.
Option B: paste a prompt into any chat
Copy the request, paste it into a chat that can read links, and paste its final answer back here.
What happens next
- You get two links: a share link for the group and a private manage link for you.
- Everyone joins with just a name, comments on any day and votes on the routes.
- Anyone can propose another route, on the site or in their own chat, and it appears next to yours.
- You choose a route and close the decision. Every walking day links to its stage on Waymark.
- Send the share link only to people on the trip: anyone who has it can join and comment under any name.
